UE4 and DW CS3 compatibility ?

Thread began 9/14/2010 4:54 pm by susan297221 | Last modified 9/15/2010 3:52 pm by susan297221 | 825 views | 3 replies |

UE4 and DW CS3 compatibility ?

I had to uninstall and reinstall and delete the .dat file with UE4 - 4 times before I could get it to work initially. Then I was able to set up one form and it started crashing again. I had to do the whole uninstall/reinstall/delete .dat file again to set up another form.

Is there any kind of patch, fix, etc. available to correct the problem permanently? It really doesn't work if I have to go through this process every time I need to set up a form.

I ended up uninstalling and reverting to UE3 - I'd like to be able to get the use of the product that I paid for without having to constantly uninstall and reinstall.

Uninstalling and reinstalling should never be necessary. Usually just deleting the .dat file would fix any issues.

If you want, next time you are experiencing issues you can let us know by responding to this thread and we can give you a call to investigate the exact cause.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Thanks, I will uninstall the older version and reinstall the newer version and try it again as soon as I finish the current project!
