Dreamweaver CS4 freezes upon launching Display Manager

We have just recently pruchased the Suite of WebAssist products that includes eCart5 and DataAssist, UE, Security Assist and Cookies 313. We have not been able to use these products yet because in just beginning with a blank php 'test' page, Dreamweaver CS4 freezes upon launching Display Manager – and the only way out of it is to do a 'FORCE QUIT'. This has been maddening in that I've now removed and reinstalled the software 3 times, including reinstalling, and rebooting Dreamweaver and deleting the .DAT in the configuration folder as directed in your website troubleshooting documentation, but the problem persists. It is very frustrating to NOT be able to talk to a human being in trying to resolve this problem. Can someone there please respond???

We are running Dreamweaver CS4 on an 1.6G iMac and Mac OSX 10.5.8.

before using any of the extensions, make sure have completed the following steps:

1) Defined a dynamic site in Dreamweaver:
dynamic_site_definitions.php

2) Create a new dynamic php page and save it to your Dreamweaver site.

When using the eCart display manager, you will need to have defined the eCart object first.

If you continue to have difficulties, please provide screen shots of your Dreamweaver site definition

Done all you suggeted, still same problem

In fact I have ask another programmer here to work on it, he has had the same result, he reinstalled it all, even downloaded it all again. Test server part works fine. For example I can add a button, uploaded it to the server and test the PHP page, all that works fine.
