Adding new pages

Hi,

I've created some new pages via Add New Content in the Admin area. These pages are only for display of items, not for sale. I want to display these pages from the home page and have created and added some icons from which I am trying to link to the new pages created by the Add New Content area.

Two questions:
1) Assuming my page is called "New Content" what should the name of the link be?
2) How does this get displayed from the live site?

If this sounds basic, I'm sorry, but I am an experienced designer and have tried every combination of links without success!

Many thanks,

Sid

you have to manually create the new php page and then add the developer notes for the new content into it.

Add New Content in Admin

So what about the Add New Content facility in admin?

I've created new pages in Content and Support using this facility and I can mange them ok in Admin (add text photo's etc), but why do they then not appear on my "live" site?

you have to create the php page that will be used to display the content, then add the developer notes.

New Pages

I've done that - created new php pages in DW, copied the developer notes bit in, then uploaded live. In admin, everything works. I can add, delete etc but when going outside admin to see the site live, nothing is coming through.

If I'm missing something then I'm sorry!

I find it strange that for one of the most fundamental aspects of this system that there are no step by step instructions. Can some be provided please? Literally, start here, do this etc

Many thanks again.

Sid

Sorry to jump in but are the developer notes creating correctly?

Can you post one of the notes on here I have a feeling you are doing everything right but your server is not understanding one of the .php.js files.
