Power Gallery Setup Wisard

I'm trying to setup PowerGallery on my website using the PowerGallery Installation Wizard and when I get to the part to add database user information I get this . . . ERROR: Could not connect to MySQL. Please verify the server, username, and password are correct.

My site is hosted with HostGator, I am using Cpanel. I setup databases all the time for other programs with no problem but I can't get the PowerGallery Installation Wizard to accept the database user information.

This is the information I enter.

server/localhost: (this one shows wrong)
database name: gallery
username: pwadmin (this one shows wrong)
password: ms6xLXhc (this one shows wrong)

Does any one have any ideas that may help me, Please advise.
