Paypal and Digital Goods

I'm selling digital products on my website and was wondering what the best way to handle this is. I'm using Paypal to collect the money then I want the item added to a list of downloadable goods they have access to. My shopping cart has a column for prodType so I'm good in that way. Is there a tutorial on how to handle this from the transaction complete on the paypal site to adding and updating in the database the proper information?
