UE 3.07 broken on CS4 & Snow Leopard

Wasted three hours yesterday trying to apply Universal Email 3.07 to a form in Dreamweaver CS4 on Snow Leopard.

So, I would step through all of the dialogue boxes setting everything up and then get to the "body" tab. As I have done a hundred or more times before (with other pages) I would edit the WAUE* file and save it. Most of the times when I clicked save nothing would happen so I would have to close the file to have UE pop up again.

When I return to the UE dialogue boxes everything is set back to default. If I go through the process again it repeats this pattern over and over again. When I look in the file I have several UE blocks. In the UE folder I have a new WAUE* file iteration for each time I tried to get this to work.

I have 3.05 running on my other mac and it works better but it has never worked as well on a Mac as it does on my Windows machine. For one thing Universal Email never shows in my Server Behaviors panel on a mac and it always does on Windows.

Anyway, I have implemented three workarounds:

1. just do it on Windows since this extension obviously does not work right on OS X
2. do it on the Mac running 3.05
3. skip the "Body" tab and hand code it
