Google Maps Javascript API V3
I have noticed in the Google Maps Javascript API documentation that V2 has been officialy deprecated as of May 19, 2010. Are you going to support V3 soon and when will the upgrade be available?

At this time we have not made any plans to update to the V3 API.
Googles deprecation policy will support the V2 API for a period of three years.
The V2 code can run using the V2API as well.
to change it to use the V#API, you can change the v attribute of the script tag that calls the google server:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api&v=2&key=ABQIAAAAvZMU4-DFRYtw1UlTj_zc6hT2yXp_ZAY8_ufC3CFXhHIE1NvwkxQcT1h-VA8wQL5JBdsM5JWeJpukvw">/*wagmp*/</script>
to v=3:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api&v=3&key=ABQIAAAAvZMU4-DFRYtw1UlTj_zc6hT2yXp_ZAY8_ufC3CFXhHIE1NvwkxQcT1h-VA8wQL5JBdsM5JWeJpukvw">/*wagmp*/</script>
That's very sad news, because a lot of people who are designing mobile websites are really waiting for a extension like that.
And it's a market 10 times bigger then the desktop market (and growing every day!).
It seems when looking around for mobile development tools, most extension makers are missing the train all ready. It looks like they can't keep up with the enormous speed things are pointing more and more in a mobile direction. (look at my suggestion for a "mobile website maker with device detection" on the Wish List Page of this forum) if you like.
