PowerCMS 2 The <p></p> tag -and- MDB2 Error: connect failed

The PowerCMS(2) editor automatically ads the <p></p> tag when entering or pasting text and so on.
Can this be disabled in one of the file's. And if so, wich file would that be?

And!!!!!

How do I solve this???
Error
MDB2 Error: connect failed
connect: [Error message: unable to establish a connection] [Native code: 0] ** mysql(mysql)://utlopers:xxx@mysql51-c1.mysite.nl/

As for the error you are getting when does this error occur for you and is there any page or line numbers referenced?
