spry menu and iframes

Not sure if css can help with this but the only css web assist product i have is css sculptor, so i thought i would ask for help.
Using Dreamweaver cs4 and spry drop down menu. I have an iframe on the page and the drop down is hidden by the iframe.
kaeser_aftercool_air.php

I have tried
<iframe style="position:relative; z-index:-1;" allowtransparency="true" height="1700px" width="98%" src="http://us.kaeser.com/Images/US96-KAC_AirCooledAftercooler-tcm9-9678.pdf" frameborder="0"></iframe>

I appreciate any help,
Jim Balthrop

the issue is that you are displaying a pdf file in the iFrame.

this is not supported by browser standards. Different browsers will handle this differently since there is no standard plugin to allow for displaying a pdf the same in all browsers.

When I view your page in fire fox, it displays fine, it asks to download the pdf though.

you will have a different experience in other browsers.

currant browser standards do not support showing a pdf document in a web page.

thanks Jason,

That answered my problem. I tested an iframe that displayed a php page and the spry submenu showed on top of the iframe.
So, the problem is the pdf not the iframe itself.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer this.
