Zero value goods

Hi, I am using ecart4 with asp.

My customer wishes to have a demo product that they supply for nothing with their customer only paying postage.

I have added a record for the item and a shipping cost which also comes from the database.

However, when I try to submit the confirm form, the cart validation fails because it calculates if the line is greater than zero (and overflows) because of a division by zero.

I have tries altering the price to 0.01 and reducing the shipping by the same amount and it works fine. The customer however doesn't want to take this approach.

How do it get round it.

The line of code is this one.
if ((WA_eCart_FormatNumber(WA_eCart_DisplayInfo(EquiMatters, "Price") - ((WA_eCart_DisplayInfo(EquiMatters, "Price")/WA_eCart_TotalColumn(EquiMatters, "TotalPrice")) * WA_eCart_GetDiscounts(EquiMatters)), false, 2) > 0)) then

Thanks

Graham

PayPal will not allow for an item to have a price of 0.

The item price must be 0.01 or greater.

Even if you got past the hurdle of the modifying the code to allow a price of 0, the transaction would fail going through paypal.
