Configuring Mail with Network Solutions Linux

I'm baffled how to get my site to work with the mail server. It's seemingly the last thing I have to do and nothing I've done works.

My site is housed on my Network Solutions linux server, which I manage. The incoming mail server is mail.jolleystudio.com and outgoing is smtp.jolleystudio.com. It does require password authentification.

I have several user names for the site, including customerservice@jolleystudio.com, sales@jolleystudio.com, djolley@customerservice.com and orders@jolleystudio.com.

I have Universal EMail, if that's of any help. What I don't have is much of a PHP clue. Could you please explain what I must do to have the site email the new user and inform my producer/shipper of orders?

Thank you SO much. It's been driving me nuts all weekend.

The emailing that occurs in PowerStore by default does not make use of authentication, so this is something that you will need to add manually if you need it.

Do you have UE v3? This is the version that the email functionality was created with in PowerStore. If you have it you should try updating the UE server behaviors to work with the PEAR mail. You will need to ensure that you have PEAR with the mail module installed on your php server. Then you need specify the path to pear and you can enter the credentials to access your outgoing smtp server.
