PowerGallery Database Integration

I'm a bit confused by this.
Could someone point me to an example of this PowerStore/PowerGallery integration so I could see a working example.

The tables in the db should all be different except for the wa_settings table. This table will have the same name in PowerStore and Power Gallery. Within this wa_settings the only settings that are named the same are the admin username and password. So you could combine the two versions of this table and just use the same db. What is the result that you get when you try it like this?
