Why would this happen ?

I have replaced the PP_ECO_PHP.php file with the file specified in this thread showthread.php?t=12914 and it is working now but the question remains why ?

The problem comes from the the script sending the info to the sanbox versus live server. The credentials were not correct for the server you were posting to so it returned that error. The update makes it so the interaction is working with the correct server.

ahh ok, thanks for the explanation Eric

FYI if I modify the checkout a new PP_ECO_PHP.php overwrites the fixed one and I get the error all over again.
