No style options shown for 'current page' option in Menu Writer 2

Hi,

I just upgraded to CSS Menu Writer V2. I disabled and removed CSS Menu Writer V1 extension before installing V2 and am using Dreamweaver CS5.

When I go to the 'current' page option for highlighting the page the user is currently on I don't have any border/background options displayed. I've attached a screen shot showing what I see. All of the other states have the normal options.

Can you help?

The currant page highlight uses the Hover settings.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the reply, I thought it might be using the hover colours, but I'm still not getting any highlighting of the current page button in a test menu I built using one of the presets.

How does is know to assign the current class to a link? Usually when creating current highlighting through hand coding I modify the template properties in Dreamweaver to allow the body attribute to be editable and match them up that way with the current link, I'm not seeing anything like that in the code generated by CSS Menu Writer 2 though????

there is javascript code to apply the currant class to the link based on the address in the address bar and the address of the link. for example, if the link is href="mypage.htm" and the address in the address bar is mypage.htm the currant class will be applied.

can you provide a link top your site where I could examine the problem.

Hi Jason,

I've attached my test files and all of the files generated by Menu Writer for you to have a look at.

Your help is appreciated.

the pages are working as expected for me, when I click item 2, the item 2 menu item is active, when I click item 1, the item 1 menu item is active.

I am not able to reproduce the issue.

Hmm, ok thanks Jason. I'll have another look at it myself and see if I was doing something stupid.

Thanks
