Setting up list in Product catalog

I am using Data Assist to set up a product catalog and it works great. However, my client wants to know if there is a way to input the data, so it shows up in the catalog as a list, and not one big paragraph. He wants to be able to highlight certain things with bullet points for listing.

Is there for that to be done?

can you give an example of what you are trying to achieve.

on the surface it seems fairly straghtforward

I will try...

For example, the client wants it to look like this:

This product is blah, blah, blah, etc
1) Highlight
2) Highlight

When inputting into product_update page, we only can put the information as one continous paragraph. I noticed HTML Editor may be able to help with formatting the description of products. Would this be correct?

Can you tell me your product table structure in your database ?

Typically, I would have fields like...

ID
Name
Description1
Description2
ImageURL
ImageALT
....

Product Table in Database

It is somewhat similiar and if I can remember:

ProductID
ProductName
ProductSKU
ProductPrice
ProductShortDescription
ProductLongDescription
ProductThumbnail
ProductImage
ProductCategoryID
ProdcutSubCategoryID

Sorry if i'm missing the point, but here are 2 suggestions...

If, for example, you wanted to show a list of bullet points within your text description, you could do this with html editor.

Alternatively, if you wanted to have the bulleted points to feature separately, you could store each one as a row in a table, linked to your product table by product id, then use a recordset to retrieve the approprate rows on the product page, and format the dynamic list within <ul> </ul> tags
