Site Sculptor Content Management Screen Blank

I have been working on my pages all day and now the "edit content area" screen is blank. I was able to capture the error message.
Please help. I need the editor screen back. My site is live and all messed up.

Based on the error you are getting and the result that you see when editing the content on your representatives page there might be a problem with the content that you have on this page. There could also be a problem with the files that you are using. The first thing you should try to do is make a backup of your HTMLEditor files on the server, then re-upload these files to the server to see if there is a problem in the files themselves.

If you get the same result it would indicate that there is a problem with the content that you have added to the page. If this is the case you may need to go into your db into the contents to update it, removing it would probably be best. Please give this a try and let us know what the result is.

Blank Content Management Page

It does this on every page that I try to edit. I know the problem started with the representative page because I was trying to use the Google Map plugin on it. Didn't work the way I wanted it to. I do not know how to fix the database back to the way it was. I already updated the pages on the server to match my local files. I am hoping I dont have to start all over with the entire site. I am new to php and do not know what to do at this point.

If the problem is related to the content that you have added then you should be able to edit the problem content and have it work again. If you are not able to identify the content that is causing the problem you may need to redo it. You should be able to find the content in your db in the pcms_contents table. In here you should be able to see the page and area name and the content for it. You will want to erase the content that you see for the offending page to have it go back to normal.

Content Management Screen Blank Fixed

Thank you for the help. I was finally able to fix it. One of the "fck" files was messed up. I still don't know what I did to break it. Anyway, I created a brand new site sculpter site with content management enabled, then I copied all the files in the html editor folder into my local folder for my site, synced it and uploaded those new files to the web server and presto all of my screens are back.

I'm glad that worked for you. Did you first try to just re-upload the files that were originally created or was that not an option for you?

Content Management Screen Blank Fixed

I was unable to re-upload originals since I did not have a copy of them. I was allowing dreamweaver to sync everything so my local copy was the same as the broken ones online.

I see, this is one reason why I don't rely on DW to sync the sites and always manually FTP the files to the server. The problem may have just been a fluke, but it might not hurt to make this process more manual in case you need to get back to the original files.
