Inserting records into the database with the order

Inserting records into the database with the order

I'm trying to insert some session variables from the checkout page such as "school name" & "school type" into the database at the same time the order information is sent to the database so they'll be on the same line. I put some new table rows in the ps3_orders table and put a Data Assist insert record into the confirm page, but it's not submitting. They show up in the email so I know that it's passing the session variables. I didn't see any kind of previous insert record to adjust on the confirm page, so I don't know how the info is being stored. Is it possible to have the added session variables post with the order information?

The orders are stored using eCart Store Cart Summary in Db server behavior. If you open the Server Behaviors panel, you will see the server behavior listed (if you own eCart). if you double click the server behavior you can bind the new values so they are inserted at the same time an order is stored in the DB.
