Purchased package of products that included surveyor and surveyor won't activate.

I have tried multiple times to activate this program and nothing happens. I type in my activation key and it gives me the green check mark that says the activation key is valid then when I click activate the screen quickly flashes red and says contact tech support. Anyone know how I can fix this issue and activate surveyor.
