google analytics integration

has anyone successfully integrated Google Analytics e-commerce reporting with ecart?

Looking at answer.py?hl=en&answer=55528

it appears that I need to display the details of an order on a receipt page (I'd assume this would be done after the customer is paid).

My issue is how I get that order onto my receipt page because I'm using a remote checkout, when the customer is returned, a new session would have been created or is the simple answer that I get my payment processor to return the orderid and run a recordset based on that?

You would probably have to implement IPN to get that to work with remote checkout properly.

what if you weren't using Paypal?

At the moment I'm setup for Paypal but I'm investigating Protx and WorldPay at the moment.

They all offer an equivalent to IPN to allow people to do something like this. It is just a little more work and you need to understand their system by reading the associated api documentation.
