little help

Hello, the question can be stupid but I need a little help.
On my page I use the mod rewrite and pro maps won't work, work only with normal url address.
I use a variable with a sitename.

my page are in the root directory

the sample that work in url is
page.php?lang=en&page_ID=2

the rewrite expression is
RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/([^/]*)$ /page.php?lang=$1&page_ID=$2 [L]

and the url where promaps won't work is
2

The maps that are created rely on interacting with Googles API to get the information that powers the map. If your rewrite rules are affecting the files that are referencing the API url's then you will not get the maps to work properly. If you are able to you should prevent these rewrite rules from running on the google_javascript folder and the page with the map on it.

Thankyou for reply Eric, the api code is loaded with absolut url (to google).
I try to set the google pro maps directory with RewriteEngine off rule but doesn't work.
Now the google maps works only if I add manually to the page, with api on false.

If the issue you are experiencing is due to the rewriting then you should be able to temporarily turn this off for the entire site then test out the map page with the API on. If you are not able to get the map to display here then it would suggest that the rewrite rules are not a part of the problem, however if the map does display it would indicate that the rewrite rules are affecting the page with the map still.

If there is a problem with the rewrite rules then turning them on globally should get things working, if the problem is something else this test will let you know and we can pursue the issue further.
