I would suggest that you start on the eCart support page with the getting started guide, here is a link to the support page:

ecart/

This document should cover the basics about using eCart to create a commerce enabled site. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Eric
Thanks I have checked out the support documents and it all seems straight forward except and without making an Ecart before, I'm still a liitle unsure of the development sequence...Here is an example I run and the result:
I Make 2 new php pages, ecart.php and index.php.
Into the ecart.php page I insert, webasist, ecart, eCart Object and click OK, no other mods. Next, I go insert, webassist, ecart, add to cart button and give the redirect to the index.php page. Finally I go, insert. webassist, ecart, display manager and finnish.
I just want to F12 pre-vis the page and the page reads in small blue text 'The cart is empty'. Followed underneath with a text box and add to cart button.
Eric, what is it that seems to happen to the site cart in dreamweaver to make it disappear?

the will be empty when you first visit the page, you need to click the add to cart button to add an item to the cart.

Hi Jason
Maybe the description was a bit convoluted.

insert, ecart obect
insert, add to cart object button
insert, display manager

No preview?
