Submenus not changing on hover

Submenus not changing on hover

I'm having trouble getting my submenus to behave properly on hover.

Here's the menu I'm working on:
newtestnavtwo.shtml

Editing the color and background-color attributes on this selector:
ul#cssmw0 ul.level-1 > li:hover > a
seems to have no effect.

For the selector: ul#cssmw0 ul.level-2 > li:hover > a
the font color does change, but the background color doesn't.

What am I missing?

Thank you,
David

PS: CSS Menuwriter created the ID #cssmw0 because I rebuilt my menu in an attempt to resolve this issue. I didn't delete my first menu and its cssmw directory, so Menuwriter added the "0".

Hi David,

I think your changes will be fine as long as you put a hash before the hex number for the colors (i.e. #7f873a rather than 7f873a)

Doh!
It sure helps to have another set of eyeballs going over my work.
That was the problem.
Thank you.
