Shipping rates in database possible?

Hi
I have setup 3 zones for different shipping rates is there a way to put the rates in a record ie

Zone1
-- Rate 1
-- Rate 2
---Rate 3
---Rate 4
---etc...

Zone 2
----Etc....

Can these be then used in ecart?

Thanks

Mike

Yes, this can be done by setting a session variable to store the different shipping zones. Then in the shipping rules, you have a different shipping rule for each shipping zone. The trigger will be based on the session variable value and then you would be able to set up the different rates for each of the regions.

Sorry Jimmy I didnt make that too clear I already have the zones setup and the rules triggered by the session value just wondered if there was a way to hold the rates in a record that are then pulled depending on the zone value.

you would need to create a recordset to filter the database on the selected zone, then store the rates for that zone in session variables and use the session variables in your shipping rules.
