Download problem

Hi Guys,

First time using the download option in digital file pro. When the page loads with the download action the page just fills with unreadable code. Looking at it, I can see it knows if the file is a pdf or jpeg, but the rest is unreadable. I was hoping the php page would display with the file download popup box / save as popup didplaying automaticly.

Any ideas what I have done wrong.

My trigger is: recordset not empty

The folder is set to "../coupons"

The filename is the full name and extionsion which is stored in a field via the recordset.

The save as is set to a friendly name also stored in a field via the recordset.

Any help welcme.

Thanks

Jon

If you could provide a url to the download page, so we can take a look at the error messages that are showing up, that would be helpful in determining the cause of the error.

One thing you should try is to open a new blank page and try setting up a simple download script that just uses static values to download a file. See if there is anything strange about that page. It could be that when you applied the download behavior the first time, it was applied incorrectly.

Hi, thanks for the reply, please attached screen shot. Can I give you the path to the offending page (currently protected with .htaccess) privately?

Thanks

Did you do the test on a blank page? If you did, what were the results?

Also, are you testing on different browsers or only on Firefox? If you're only testing on one try testing it on a different browser to see if it is a browser issue.

There isn't a way to set the trigger to be set off if there are no rules set.
