Menu to home page

I am trying to set up a site using my own template which so far is ok using ss. I have created a home page template and a content template.
When I set up site in SS and you get to choose the pages from the drop down list you can choose the blank option which in my case is the content template I have created however I do not get the option to choose the home page template which means I can not set the home menu button to link to the homepage.

So what happens is when I open the site I get the home page template (front page-which is what I want) but if I click on the home menu button I get taken to the content template page. (as this is the only option available to me from the drop down list when setting up pages)

Is there a way to change the home page menu button link to link to the home page template?
Thank you

Kirk

SiteSculptor will make use of the home and content page templates. The home page template is used only for the home page and not any of the content pages. You will only be able to create pages in the site that are based on the content page template.

By default the sites that are generated with SiteSculptor should have the home page setup as the index page. All pages other than the index page should have a home page link on them that will link back to the index page.
