CSSMenuWriter on .shtml pages?

Is this possible?

I've created a .shtml web page and inserted the menu and it displays the menu in IE7 and Safari 3.2.3 but in Firefox 3.0.10 it displays the script at the top of the CSSMenuWriter/cssmw/menu.asp file:

<%
WA_localRoot = "/mywebsite/"
WA_remoteRoot = "/"
WA_curURL = LCase(cStr(Request.ServerVariables("SCRIPT_NAME")))
assumedRoot = WA_remoteRoot
if (inStr(WA_curURL,LCase(WA_localRoot)) = 1 AND (Len(WA_localRoot) >= Len(WA_remoteRoot) OR inStr(WA_curURL,LCase(WA_remoteRoot)) = 0)) then
assumedRoot = WA_localRoot
end if
%>

Any reason why this is only being displayed in Firefox? Is it something to do with the .shtml file type?

Thanks.
Nathon.

This is .php code. You can just delete it if everything else is working properly.

seems to have done the trick!

Thanks Ray, again. I've removed that code from cssmw/menu.asp and it's solved the problem. I've done some changes on the menu, since, and it doesn't appear to have put that code back so I'm guessing that's problem solved.

In answer to the original question though, there shouldn't be any problem running the menu on a .shtml page, should there?

Thanks again for the assistance.
Regards
Nathon

No it should work just like .html pages, which are supported. The only reason why it wouldn't work would be if it was accidentally adding other php code elsewhere, but it too could be removed because it wouldn't be neccessary.
