It would be helpful if you outlined the steps you took to get this error and which product you were using when this error occurred.

This error happens constantly now on any page even when i open Dreamweaver for the first time. Deleted the .dat file as per Java Script error instructions. seemed to have made it worse. I can still update pages and put pages but have to deal with this error constantly.

Have you tried reinstalling Digital File Pro extension? That error looks like it cannot find a file associated with that extension.

Did anything in particular happen right before you started getting these errors? Like installing, updating or removing an extension, or Dreamweaver, or your computer locking up, and you had to do a hard shut down?

Never had DFP installed. Just installed the extension and still get same error.

Updated several extension updates Ecart, Menu writer etc. That is when i started getting this error.

Dreamweaver's extension manager often does a poor job of updating and deleting extensions.

when you updated the extensions, did you remove them first, then install them? Or just install over the top?

I have noticed with Dreamweaver, that I sometimes have to just start from scratch with a blank configuration, and re install all my extensions.

You could try deleting those extensions from the extension manager, then re installing them.
When done, remember to remove the .dat file you referred to earlier.

Hope that helps!

Uninstalled all extensions (took all day) why does it take so long to remove them?

Reinstalled extensions and no more errors

Thanks

Not sure why it takes so long. It has something to do with the operating system and Extension Manager versions though. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it. Glad you were able to work the issue out though.
