Ps3 New domain

Hi
Quick question (first I am still on the unlimited licence for PS3 so no prob there)

I installed and setup Powerstore on a password protected domain to allow setup.

mydomain.com

now I want to map it to the main domain name (not moving just making the .co.uk one the main domain)

mydomain.co.uk

Would this cause problems with PS3?

Thanks

Mike

So you aren't actually moving the files, just mapping a new domain name to them? You may have to change a few of the path variables stored in the database (in the wa_settings table), but it shouldn't cause any problems otherwise.

Hi Jimmy
Yes just mapping a different domain. Thanks for the reply doesnt sound to bad just a quick backup beforehand.

I was not sure if there were any hardcoded paths if they are in the database not a problem.

Thanks again

Mike

Yes, its definitely always a good idea to make a backup before making any changes. Hope it all goes smoothly during the transition.
