security assist with data assist issue

security assist with data assist issue

I've managed to get all pages working on my localhost, created and connected to a database, worked through and installed Data Assist. I put Security Assist on as well for security of Admin, and all pages for Security Assist work fine, expect for a few pages using Data Assist (these were working before). Here is the errors I get when trying to search a database, or follow a link from the admin main menu:

Warning: require_once(../../WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\test_hills25\webassist\email\mail_ php.php on line 1

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php' (include_path='.;C:\xampp\php\PEAR') in C:\xampp\htdocs\test_hills25\webassist\email\mail_ php.php on line 1

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,

Joseph

the error saying the problem is occurring in the webassist\email\mail_ php.php file.

This file should not have any references to the security assist files, remove the require once at line 1 that is referencing the security assist file.

follow-up

Jason,

Worked great! Now, when I get ready to load all these new dynamic pages onto the web server for publishing, do I need to change anything with regard to connections or paths for them to operate properly on the web? Currently, I am testing everything via localhost, with all directories, paths, & folders going to the XAMPP root folder.

Thanks for all your help. Looking forward to your response.

you should only need to modify the database connection file to use the correct mySQL server, username, password and database for your remote host.

Jason,

I am correct in assuming that all of the admin LogIn and Data Assist created pages will upload to the remote as secure, or do I need to put them all in a particular folder? If there are procedures for this, please forward to me.

Thanks again for your help.

Joseph
