CSS Menu fails

Thread began 6/29/2010 7:06 am by malcolm230194 | Last modified 6/29/2010 8:57 am by malcolm230194 | 628 views | 2 replies |

CSS Menu fails

A functioning vertical menu stopped functioning for no obvious reason. The menu will work in browser preview but not work on a live page. In preview all code is in the html but on live page code is in /CSSMenuWriter however all paths are correct. A horizontal menu on the same page works as expected.

Solution

Sorry. My cock up. I'd checked and double checked everything so decided to try a spry menu. Same thing happened. The problem was an overflow: hidden in a containing div that hadn't shown up in css styles.

This seems to be a problem with CS5. Changes made in the style panel don't always show in the code and vice versa. Anyway the problem is solved.
