Install Questions

I recently purchased powerstore 3 and have setup my hosting through justhost.com. The Server Diagnostic Check was all good to go. Under the 2nd step database information I went to my control panel and added a database products. I cannot find where the information needed is stored. (Server/Hostname, database name, etc.) My 3 options are: Mysql databases, Mysql database wizard, and phpmyadmin. Please let me know what information you need and I will post right away.

Thanks.

These are the "basic" connection settings for mysql.

You would use localhost as the Server/Host Name, the database would be products and the username and password are the ones for your database. You should already have the username and password or you can contact your service provider to find out.

Thanks

Looks like I had to have (myuname_dbname) in order for it to find my database. I had to remove the user I made for that database and just enter my given uname and pword with the hosting site. If not it kept telling me I did not have access for Create View.

Thank you and I will post again when I get stuck.

Great to hear you were able to get past the database step. If you run into any additional issues, feel free to open a new thread.
