cannot get validation to be recognized by DW for editing

Hi

I previously added tons of validation to a form. However now when I go to open validation toolkit so that i can EDIT something, it doesnt recognize what is already there - so its starting over blank.

how do i get it to just recognize what is there?

What modifications to the page did you make after applying the validations? There may have been some changes that affect the way that the validations are inspected and that is why it is starting over. If you could post up the page with the validations applied, I could take a look to see if I can tell why the validations aren't being inspected.
