Uploads files with sucess, but does not save filename to mysql

Hello,

Just bought the universalmail4. I want to use the "upload file" feature.

When I apply it to the "filefield" form, it all works as expected, the upload works fine, but it does not store the file name into the mysql database.
Is a simple table for banners.

bannerid - int
bannerfile - varchar(100)

The other posts I found with a similar problem mention data assist, but I don't have data assist.

I already putted the "serverfilename" option in the second step of the process ('FileName' => "".$WA_DFP_UploadStatus["WA_UploadResult1"]["serverFileName"] ."",)

I am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

Amaro

What does your insert code look like? If you aren't using Data Assist how are you creating the database record?

The Dreamweaver Insert Record behavior will not support binding to the server file name variable that is created by the upload file functionality.

You will need to use the DataAssist insert record behavior to be able to accomplish this with out having to hand code it.

I'm having the same issue, and I do use DataAssist

I'm having the same issue, and I'm using DataAssist to insert the record into the database at the same time as the form contents are emailed.

Which option should I select in the DataAssist Insert Record window in order to save the file attachment file names to the database?

Thanks,
Cory

File Upload will create a new binding group named "Uploaded Files(File Field Name)" where "file field name" is the name of your file field. Use the "Server File Name" binding under this group.
