installation issues

I have dreamweaver cs4 and everytime I want to use menu writer in conjuction with scuptor a message pops up that I need to define a site open it and choose a location (navigation area) and run writer again. I do this and the same message pops up. It said that it is cs4 compatible before I purchased.

also seems there are a few problems with the webassist website lately, a lot of time out errors and the like. all my browsers have had issues with the site.

any help would be much appreciated.

All products should be CS4 compatible. Please give more information about reproducing your problem, or submit a support incident to work directly with an engineer to work out what is causing this problem.

We just launched a new version of the web site this morning. If you run into any problems please post the specific errors and what browser and page you were on at the time. You may have been browsing during the change-over if you were just experiencing problems this morning.

as far as the installation problem, it's just that everytime I go to the writer manager, a message pops up which says define site, save it, choos area for buttons and launch again. it fails to do so.

as far as the website is concerned that would explain a few things. after a reinstall of menu writer validation fails, with an error message of firewall settings etc. All my browsers have had a problem with server not responding, only IE8 works if I reload the timed out page.

Please post a support incident. This is not a common problem, so a webassist engineer will likely need to debug this with you over the phone.
