Shipping rules

Shipping rules

My Client has chosen to do shipping this way:
0.01 to 6.59 ship rate is 3.50
6.60 to 95.00 ship rate is 5.50
95.01 to 370.00 ship rate is 9.00
370.01 and up ship rate is 14.50
Over night rate is flat 20.00

For out of us they are using a similar table but no overnight option.
I realize that I have to do shipping rules, is each rate a separate rule? If so I would have 5 rules for the US and 4 for Europe. How do I distinguish US from Europe?
Thank you

Yes, you would need a different rule for each of those values. One way you could distinguish the rules for US and out of US is to set a session variable with a boolean value and in the rules. Then in the shipping rule, set up the trigger you want (between those values for the column that you're looking at) and then add an additional trigger. The condition on the additional trigger would be Based on session variable value. You could then distinguish between the two types of rules that way.
