Server validation for registration

Can't find this mentioned anywhere. Is the server validation for registration put on the registration page or the page it goes to (eg profile page)?

There will be validations applied to the page that you have specified for the action page. Since its server validation, it is applied to the page that the form forwards to. The client validation is applied to the current page that the form is on.
