Site Sculptor and Extension Manager Problem

Hi Guys,

I've downloaded the Site Sculptor extension, but I didn't get to install it, because the Extension Manager shows a message that this extension needs a newer version of Extension Manager. I tried to install all versions of Adobe Extension Manager (for CS4 and CS5), but I didn't get to install the extension anyway.
My Dreamweaver is CS3 and my Extension Manager is 1.8
Thanks

neilo

Hi, just for info, I'm using version 1.8.169 for C3, and the install went quite smoothly. I get the usual warning about overwriting files (yes to all) but that's all.

rather than double clicking the mxp file to begin the installation, try starting the installation manually.

1) Open the extension manager.

2) In the extension manager, click the Install New Extension icon.

3) in the browser that opens, locate the mxp file you have downloaded and select it to start the installation.

Site Sculptor and Extension Manager Problem

Urgent Help!!

I've tried to install manually, but I receive this message:
The extension package is invalid. The extension will not be installed.
I've downloaded the extension again from Webassist download page but I had the same problem.
I don't find any problem with my older extensions installation.
Thanks

the error:
The extension package is invalid. The extension will not be installed.

means that your download of the MXP file is corrupted.

delete the file you downloaded, clear your browsers cache, then download it again. Make sure to select the option to save the file to your computer rather than to open it.

If you still have problems, try downloading using a different web browser.

Also make to turn off all anti virus programs and other programs that may scan files as they are created.
