Upgrading from SiteAssit Pro to Site Sculptor Questions

I just purchased the upgrade and I could not find any documentation on mirgrating existing sites that were created using SiteAssist Pro?

I would assume the I will have to uninstall Site Assist Pro before installing the new Site Sculptor........how will this effect sites already created with Site Assist Pro?

I could not find any documentation for the new Site Sculptor.............

Thanks

Site Sculptor sites and SiteAssist Pro sites are different. You will be able to have both SiteAssist Pro and Site Sculptor installed at the same time, so you can work on existing SiteAssist Pro sites using SiteAssist Pro and create new sites using Site Sculptor.

Thanks for the information. I was mis-informed when I inquired about the email for Site Sculptor. I was told it replaced Site Assist Pro............

I will have to compare features to see which one I will prefer in the future. At least I don't have to convert the old sites over..............THAT'S GOOD NEWS!

Well, it is replacing SiteAssist Pro as a product. There are added features, but you can have both of them installed at the same time without running into issues.

Are there any advantages to using and keeping SAP other than being able to access previously designed sites? Anything else it does that SS can't do, such as importing CSS Sculptor or Menu Writer presets?

NO, Site Sculptor has all of the functionality from Site Site Assist Pro.

You May not want to uninstall SAP so quickly

Site Sculptor does not edit your previously created sites - if you want to edit a site after creating it, you have to recreate it from scratch (sucks!). So , you may want to keep SAP, I find that it is nice to be able to change your site after creating it.
