Can't activate

Can't activate

I have installed the Payment Buttons for Paypal into Expression Web 4 and am able to start the add-in but cannot activate it. The serial numbers boxes will not allow me to paste anything into them at all. When I manually type in the digits they enter into the boxes in a reversed order. I have tried to then type them in backwards and still get the activation error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the addin several times and also DLd a new copy with the same results. I have attempted to install on my laptop and get the same result - won't activate.
I am using Windows 7 running under admin.

How are you trying to copy and paste the serial number in? Are you using ctrl+c and ctrl+v to copy and paste respectively? Or are you trying to right click and select paste from the menu? If you're doing it one way try the other way as well.

Thanks for pointing out the entering characters is entered backwards. We're looking into that right now.

What is the activation error you're getting?

Thank you. For some reason I had not tried ctrl+c and ctrl+v. Must be getting old and set in my ways. That fixed the issue.
The one comment I'll make is that I used the old program many times while building customer's web sites and found it very useful, quick and easy. I think this new program will work well for my own sites, but having to set up a client's API information may turn into a deal breaker. Most of my clients are understandably hesitant to give out this type of information and will have to be convinced of the necessity of doing so.

Well, if they're looking to have you set up ecommerce sites for them, that's just something they'll have to trust you with. Glad you were able to get it activated. If you run into any additional issues, feel free to open a new thread.
