Products page requesting password for Gallery display

Dear All

Slowly but surely I am getting closer to getting this working.

I added the code from PowerGallery>Admin>Add to Site to PowerStore Admin> Products> Update (product information)> Long Description > Source > paste code > Update.

I then checked as a user from my site (chengyan.nickdfg.com). When I clicked on the product, I got the error:

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Access denied for user 'dbo330230171'@'212.227.119.22' (using password: YES) in /homepages/18/d319201787/htdocs/chengyanWhite/Connections/powergallery.php on line 9

Fatal error: in /homepages/18/d319201787/htdocs/chengyanWhite/Connections/powergallery.php on line 9

So I looked in my Connections/powergallery.php and it said:

<?php
# FileName="Connection_php_mysql.htm"
# Type="MYSQL"
# HTTP="true"
$hostname_powergallery = "db2509.oneandone.co.uk";
$database_powergallery = "db330230171";
$username_powergallery = "dbo330230171";
$password_powergallery = "xxxxxxxx";
$powergallery = mysql_pconnect($hostname_powergallery, $username_powergallery, $password_powergallery) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR);
?>

where it correctly gives my password (not the x's I have edited in). So I don't understand why it is failing. My password is there.

Can anyone tell me what changes I need to make? Any help gratefully received.

Regards, Nick

One thing that you might need to do is to implement the Database Integration Update in your download center:
productdownload.php?PID=292

Apologies

Sorry,
I had problems with my PowerGallery installation and created a new "vanilla" setup. You're right, I forgot to go back and wrap the bindings ...
Thanks for the swift reply.

Products page requesting password for Gallery display

I have checked my Products pages, and they have the db integration correctly in place. But I am still getting the "access denied" password problem.

The website is: www.chengyan.nickdfg.com/

When I went to Products > Tigers from the menu (which was visible), and then clicked on the first tiger, "learn more" button, I got the same error msg. (This one is the only one which I have applied the code to, but I only get two lines of code ... which from other forum entries seems to be wrong.)

Also, my CSS stopped working correctly (see side panel, and top navigation on the "learn more" page). The top navigation is now back to raw text, with no css, although the css is still there! And the side navigation has strange gaps in it. If you go back to the home page, and hover where the top navigation should be, then click on "all products", everything looks fine ... until you click on the "learn more" button again. See txt attachment for extra info

More advice please.

Nick
