PowerGallery won't install

Mac User can't install PowerGallery:
I bought the suite,
1 uploaded the folder to the root or httpdocs
2 accessed index.php via web browser
3 got a prompt to download index.php (and query as to what to do)
4 opened it dreamweaver
5 set up testing server, ftp etc

There is no access to the installation wizard, just get a "Blank index.php" page in DW
Also no thread to removing .dat file regarding installation issues with DW.

Very disappointing to find zero documentation step 3

Women on phone was curt and was zero help and now no one answers the phone.
I feel ripped off and need some help?

Your server is not setup to to run PHP. Since PHP is not running, that is why it is prompting you to download the file - the web server doesn't know what to do with it. As with all solutions, Dreamweaver is not required to use it, it just looks like a configuration issue in your server setup.

There is indeed documentation on how to setup a local testing server on the documentation page of the website.

The forum is for support, that is likely what the person on the phone said when you called. There is no direct phone support, we request you search or post a thread here first.
