Uploading images with DataAssist

Hi,

I'm using DataAssist for the first time and can't figure out how to upload an image through the insert page. The only form elements offered are text field, text area, menu, etc. but no file upload option.

How can I use DataAssist to upload an image to my database?

Thanks so much in advance for any help!

Anita,

Do you also have Digital File Pro or the new Universal Email 4? You will need to have one of those extensions to actually handle the upload (and resizing of the image if you wish)... then you can use the bindings created from the Digital File Pro to add the file name to your database column through Data Assist.

Best regards,

Brian

You might also want to consider designing your form outside of the Wizard and then simply applying the Insert / Update server behaviour. I find this to be a much tidier way of working.

But yes, as Brian has already said you will need DFP 2.0 or Universal Email 4 for the file upload facility.

Thanks
