Need CAPTCHA support

I love the Universal E-mail component but it has come to our attention (via our host) that we must now apply CAPTCHA technology in order to slow down the scumbags who are using our site as a conduit for spam mail.

I noticed that there is a solution for this but it's only for PHP. Any chance that there will be a version for ASP? Otherwise we're high and dry. I've tried several different CAPTCHA codes that don't seem to play well with UE.

UE will not interfere with any other CAPTCHA programs. Get any form working with any CAPTCHA and then add UE and it will work.

There are no plans for webassist to add an ASP CAPTCHA solution so you will have to try one of the several different ones you have tried. I am sure they would all work with UE if they would work with anything.

How about a honey pot?
Most spammers use bots to submit to forms right?
What about making a field that is not visible to users but is to bots:
Process works somthing like...
IF data is submitted to that (hidden) field THAN mail is not sent.
WA had something like that didn't they?

You can create a honey pot with WebAssist Validation Toolkit and server validation.
