Removing extensions takes a long time

Hi everyone,

Whenever there are dot updates, I need to remove the older extension and then reinstall the updated one, however I've noticed that it takes a really long time (say around 5 minutes or more) just to remove an extension.

Is this what's supposed to happen? I just seems a really long time.

Appreciate any advice.

What operating system are you running and which version of Dreamweaver? On certain combinations of operating systems and versions of Dreamweaver, the extensions take longer to uninstall and install.

Hi,

I'm using Mac OS 10.5.8 and Dreamweaver CS4.

Some extensions will take longer to uninstall than others. That seems like a fairly normal time for uninstalling on that platform. Some of the extensions are quite large, so they take longer to install/uninstall.
