Powerstore Problem

I loaded the store and accessed the Admin and was looking around clicking merrily and bump:

I hit 2 snags. The first is when I type the admin address into the address bar of my browser it shows these error messages, here:
Admin/

Also the Powerstore is only showing an entrance to Admin marked username/email and I have tried all I entered whilst setting up and, nothing! I suspect the errors are blocking assess.

If need be could I delete the entire set-up on my computer and the server and re-download Powerstore and link everything together as though starting from scratch. Is that possible?.

This looks like a problem that is fixed with a known issues update for PowerStore 3. On the download page for PowerStore 3 in the known issues section download the update for:

PowerStore 3: Support Fix - Browser error when installing or changing store name (8 Kb)

After you download it read the read me file and follow the directions there to update the site. Once you have done this try browsing to your admin area again to see if the issue is still present. If it is then you may want to try installing the PowerStore again by deleting the files and re-uploading them. Post back and let us know the result you are getting.

Powerstore 3 problem

Thanks for the info, I have solved both problems. I followed your/the instructions by downloading the support resources and installing them. I found that you cannot simply overwrite the files. Long story short. Delete the offending files in dreamweaver, then navigate to the opened (unzipped) new files on your hard drive through the dreamweaver panel (local view) and copy and paste the new files into their folders, then do the same on the server, delete and then upload the new. Hey presto, job done. Regards
Robert

I'm glad to hear that you got it worked out. So it would seem that the name of the store or perhaps one of the items was causing the problem and the updated work around files fixes this issue. I will keep in mind your experience with having to delete these files first.
