How do you add Shipping rules?

Please can you tell me how to add a rule for shipping where

Orders up to £15 are charged at £5.95

Orders over £15 are charged at £9.95

Thanks

You would be adding 2 different shipping rules to accomplish this. One for the 5.95 and one for the 9.95. You would open your eCart Object and go to Shipping tab. Click the Add button and put in a name for the rule. After this, you would want to click add under the Triggers tab. Select Subtotal for the entire cart contents, <= and input 15. Then in the Calculation choose Based on the cart subtotal and choose plus and put in 5.95. You would want to do the same for the other rule except choose > instead of <= and 9.95 instead of 5.95.

Not right

I have applied the rules you said - but it seems to be adding the total and the shipping in the cart under shipping Please see attached screenshot

Have applied rules as per your instructions

Please advise

Thank you

I'm sorry, I gave you slightly incorrect instructions. If you go into the eCart object again and edit the rules, use the flat rate option under Calculation.

Thanks

Thanks -that worked. Just one other problem

When I enter for example £2.50 as a price ( I am using your supplied cart database ) the 0 is removed rom the end so it shows as £2.5

How can I stop this please

Thank you

Does the 0 get removed in the display only or also where you are adding the 0? Can you outline which locations the 0 is removed and which place it is showing up?

It is when you add the 0

See link product APF

products.php

I have used data assist to add products and when I type in 2.50 the 0 just disappears. This is the database you supplied for use with E Cart -so I am notsure it is the CART

If you change the ProductPrice column type to float(5,2), this will specify that it is stored with 2 digits after the decimal and is zero filled if it is less than 2 digits entered. It also specifies that the max digits before the decimal is 5, so if you need more digits before the decimal just increase that number.
