Trying to add free shipping coupon and now I'm getting error message when loading sit

Trying to add free shipping coupon and now I'm getting error message when loading sit

I tried to add a free shipping coupon code to my cart (I'm using PowerStore v3.0) and I followed these instructions:

I added a set session variable "couponCode" to the cart page. I then did this:

On the discounts tab, create a new rule, set the trigger to:If Session Variable "couponcode" exists AND Based on Session Variable value: If the session variable "couponcode" has a value of "FREESHIP"

For the calculation, use Based on UPS Shipping rate value.

Then - I uploaded the new cart page and the new WA_Store_cart.php page. Once I did that, I could not load any page on my site. I received:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home1/thelarse/public_html/WA_eCart/WA_Store_Cart_PHP.php on line 115

SO - I decided I'd undo what I did and come back here for help. Except that when I removed the discount code from the ecart setup, and removed the set session variable on the cart page - and then re-uploaded the two files - it didn't undo the error message...

Although - now the error message states that the error is on line 114, not 115.

We are launching the site today so I really need some help with this as soon as possible. Can you help?

The line that it's specifying is this (in the wa_store_cart_PHP.php) page:

//eCart Rule
112 function WAEC_WA_Store_Cart_USPSShipping() {
113 $totalShipping = 0;
114 if (true && ()) {
115 $totalShipping += floatval($_SESSION["WA_Store_Cart_USPS_Quote"]) + 0;//Result
116 }
117 return WA_eCart_FormatNumber($totalShipping, $this->ForceDecimalsC, $this->DecimalPlacesC);
118 }

I added the line numbers so you can see where it's pointing to (line 114) which is:
if (tru&& ()) {

What's going on? I undid what I changed.. I figured that my instructions weren't correct because they were given to me for PowerStore V2.0 and this is v3.0 which already has some coupon code setup?

I just compared my cart php file to the default one you get in the powerstore archive, and it looks like your Ecart plugin changes it completely... at least, in the shipping functions.. The default one includes "global" text/php where as the one that was changed when I was adding the coupon code - it doesn't mention global shipping variables at all.

So I'm guessing that's why there is a coupon cart? And that's what I should've edited, and not this default one?

I'll try changing it back to the default one and go from there I guess......
