Great to hear that you've been able to figure it out. I like the simple look of the menu you've created.

can someone tell me, why the second navigation (subnavigation) under "Musiker" disapears in the iE8 so quick?

i.php

When I hover over the links, the go away, they dont stay like in firefox or chrome :-(

My guess would be the 1 pixel margin you set between the level-1 menu items is causing this issue. If there wasn't a margin this shouldn't happen.

Hey Jimmy,

that works! thanks!

...but...in iE6 (yes ist old but in use at my work) there are always 1pixel black lines at the bottom :-(

Cheers

I'm not sure how you would get that black line removed in IE6. You'd have to play around with the IE6 specific css to see if you can remove that. Maybe the bottom border can be changed to cover that.
