Japanese shipping address not working with eCart

eCart shipping with Japanese address is not working.
Error message from PayPal
"Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address."

This is most likely due to having the state sent as part of the address. Did you make any modifications to the checkout pages after creating them using eCart? Are you providing shipping to multiple different countries?

Can you send me a link to your store and checkout pages?

Japanese shipping address not working with eCart

cj-330.php

Website has successfully received orders from other countries, eg Australia and England. In both cases there is no entry for State

Client has accepted an order from Japan directly through their PayPal account, not going thru the shopping cart

I have included zip with pdfs showing Checkout page, Confirm page, and final error message from PayPal. I used an address for Tokyo Central Post Office I found Wikipedia
Japanese_addressing_system

Thanks!

on the confirm page, look for the following form element:

<input type="hidden" name="address_override" id="address_override" value="1" />

and change it's value to 0:

<input type="hidden" name="address_override" id="address_override" value="0" />

Changed value="1" to "0"

<input type="hidden" name="address_override" id="address_override" value="0" />

I successfully made it thru to PayPal's payment screen.
Thank you!
