UPS Shipping Issue - Insured Value

Hello all!

I have my UPS shipping quote being returned correctly with no problems...

What I need to send to UPS also is the amount of the order in an insured value field so the returned shipping quote includes insuring the shipment...

How can I do that?

Using ecart 4 with ASP...

thanks!

It looks like insurance is a set amount for each range of insured prices. You would add this by going into the eCart object and setting up a shipping rule for each of the insured ranges using the total price. Here are the values that you should use for the insurance:

From what I can tell after doing some research on the subject and talking to some colleagues, this isn't something that can be done through the interface directly. You can add it the way I suggested, but that would require adding the rules yourself.

As far as I know, old posts are not deleted.
